Mulholland Dr. (2001)
Mulholland Drive (also spelled Mulholland Dr.) is a surrealist movie from 2001 directed and written by David Lynch. It tells the story of an aspiring actress, recently arrived in Los Angeles, who meets and befriends an amnesiac woman. It is often considered one of Lynch's finest works and one of the greatest films of all time.
A woman is the sole survivor of a car crash in Hollywood Hills near Los Angeles. She sneaks into an apartment after being injured. Betty, one of the main characters of the movie, is shocked when she discovers the woman. They try to find out who she is.
The film is scary at times and is very suddenly turning into weird and dark places. It is obviously somewhat artistic but that is subjective. The film depicts characters who have either met a crisis or been lost in another reality.
