League of Legends is a game inspired by a modified version of Warcraft III called Defense of the Ancients. In the game, two teams of five players battle in player versus player combat, with each team occupying and defending their own half of the map. During a match, champions become more powerful by collecting experience points and purchasing items in order to defeat the opposing team.
